Purpose: Using the strong masculine images and themes from the movie Fireproof and other movies,the seminar will help men "fireproof" their lives, marriages and families. With solid biblical teaching on authentic manhhod, men will gain insights and practices to be godly husbands and loving fathers and faithful friends who can withstand the "fire" of trials and temptations.
Format: Four topical presentations with fifteen video clips followed by table talk using prepared discussion questions. (It's not necessary to have seen the movie Fireproof to benefit from this seminar).
Audience: men from ages 18 to 81 from the host church and neighboring churches
Cost: $35 (including a twenty-eight page workbook, coffee and continental breakfast); $40 at the door

The movie Fireproof became a box office smash since its release last September 2008. Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, GA raised $500,000 to produce a movie to "impact the culture". Well, they sure did! Fireproof to date has grossed $33 million, helped rescue thousands of marriages across the country, given the church a valuable new ministry resource and encouraged Christian film writers and producers. Fireproof also has some powerful messages for men
