He contributed notes to the Leadership Bible, and coauthored the notes for The Journey, a Bible with insights for the unchurched. He coauthored two business books, Give 'em the Pickle and Lessons From a Dream Maker.
In his spare time, Bill likes to lift weights and exercise, read fiction, and scuba dive. Bill and his wife Cindy live in West Linn, Oregon. They have three grown sons.
